Examples of our work for leading international tourism associations include:

Pacific Asia Travel Association
Travel Research International was commissioned to carry out two important studies for PATA's Research and Development Centre. They comprised an analysis of and predictions for the UK international travel market to the PATA region, and a broader study of all long-haul travel into that region, with an analysis of trends, demand determinants and competition issues.

Pacific Asia Travel Association
Travel Research International carried out a detailed study of the actual and potential outbound travel market in India. Prior to this work, little firm detail had been available on the market's size, characteristics or trends. The study involved extensive research within India, and looked at the origins of overseas travel within India, the groups and types of traveller, the emergence of new market segments, the effects of a changing regulatory environment and the prospects for future growth.

European Travel Commission
Travel Research International also prepared a research report focused specifically on the Indian travel market to Europe. Long haul leisure travel demand is expanding among a small but nonetheless important group within the country, as a result of which a number of European destination countries are coming to realise that India is a market which merits serious attention.

Pacific Asia Travel Association
Travel Research International was commissioned by PATA to prepare a summary of the macro-economic prospects for its member states and for the principal extra-regional tourism origin markets for 2000 and 2001. This formed part of the research briefings provided to PATA members at two consecutive Annual Conferences held in Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.
